Patterns document the recommended way to solve common architectural problems on BSA Cloud. Unlike standards, a pattern shows you how to implement something, with diagrams, worked examples, and an explanation of why the approach was chosen.

Patterns are not prescriptive. You can adapt them to fit your service, but treat them as the default unless you have a good reason to diverge. If you do diverge, document why.
